These songs are important to me because these are the songs I grew up listening to and each of them has a specific meaning that correlates to me. The song "Spirit of the wild" by Ted Nugent reminds me of the first time my father brought me hunting. This playlist shows that I wont give up at the face of difficulty because I have time to make the project completed well. I feel as if my choices are a clear but not full representation of myself. Other people could learn that i like to be outside and that i wont give up easily. They wouldn't be able to learn that the most important thing in my life above all else is my family. They might assume that i shoot guns from the song "shoot to thrill" and that would be correct. But they might assume that I want to take the easy way out by guessing from the song "livin on a prayer" but that would be incorrect.
My connection to something larger from my playlist is that I don't like conflict. The song "i wont back down may lead for some to believe that it is connected to confrontation but I actually connect it to my schooling and my work. The song "livin on a prayer" has more than one meaning to me in which one of them is the hope for peace in the world. Because the fighting honestly gets us nowhere. As in the case of world war 2, millions were dead on each side of the war but where did it get
us? The stop of one man with extreme beliefs. These "leaders" send people who might not even have the same beliefs as them to fight a war for them because they cant do it for themselves.
Of my current top 5 could any of these songs correlate to you? Or have you heard of these songs?
